It has been an entire week since my last post and I promise promise I have goodies to share! I just need to get through a holiday craft show this weekend and then I will have some quality posting time :o) In the meantime, I have super yummy and EASY recipe to pass along. It is one of my husband's favorites - reminds him of home. Passed down from my Father-in-Law, I tweaked it just a skosh....I hope it warms your tummy! And wouldn't this scrumptious soup look absolutely stunning in this gorgeous soup tureen? I think yes! I just love love love the look of white - so French Shabby and yummy!
Ingredients
12 cups water
1 cup chopped celery
1 pound cooked chicken cut in small pieces
1 packet Lipton Noodle soup (I use the one with extra noodles)
1 Tbsp. parsley
8 cubes of chicken bouillon (more or less to taste)
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. powdered garlic
1 cup frozen peas
1/2 package wide no yolk noodles
Combine everything except peas and noodles. Bring to boil. Add peas and noodles. Cook according to noodle package. Serve with warm bread or crackers.
